East Bay Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month, and the East Bay is celebrating. Last week, East Bay EDA attended the East Bay Women's Conference in Walnut Creek alongside 700 attendees. The Alameda County Women's Hall of Fame also recently announced the 2026 WHOF Inductees to be celebrated at the ceremony on March 28. Learn more.

AC Transit ZEBU tour in Hayward

More than 30 East Bay EDA members and partners joined us on February 27 for a tour of AC Transit’s award-winning Zero Emission Bus University (ZEBU) in Hayward. Port of Oakland Cargo Update

The Port of Oakland began 2026 with steady cargo performance, handling 195,897 twenty-foot containers (TEUs) in January, a 1.4% increase compared to January 2025 and a 9.1% rise from December 2025 volumes.
