Key Scouter Conference

Each January, all district and council committee members gather at the Key Scouter Conference (KSC) for the purpose of learning more about their responsibilities, reviewing the status of their campaign progress, setting goals for the year and covering key issues and upcoming events. This is the most important councilwide meeting of the year for the leaders of our districts and our council. This meeting provides the opportunity to hit the reset button and refocus our operations and create solutions to current issues.
The Scouting Operation Summit is scheduled for January 25th at First United Methodist Church in Henderson. This event will be different from the regular Key Scouter Conference in that ALL adult scouters are invited to attend. Topics to be discussed are recruiting, retention, program, sustainability, unit strength, and new units. Please click here to register.
This forum is much broader than the KSC. It will impact not only the upcoming year but will help us build our Council membership plan moving forward.
Due to the extreme importance and impact of this Scouting Operations Summit, the Key Scouter Conference will not take place this year. PLEASE contact all of your scouting friends and make firm plans to attend the SOS.
In Scouting,
Gene Stewart, Jr.
VP of Program, ETAC
