As previously noted, the Board of Directors held its monthly meeting on February 6, 2023.
To communicate and keep owners & tenants aware of happenings in Eastbluff, The Board is working with HOA Connection to provide a short email blast highlighting board decisions and issues after each meeting.

- In Executive Session, the Board reviewed information on legal and civil code requirements related to filling vacancies on the Board. Reviewed the landscape maintenance contract interview committee recommendations and selected a company to work out the final contract and cost issues. Approved the payment of the $1,000 insurance deductible as part of a lawsuit settlement involving the Association. Discussed possible legal matters related to a potential dispute with the NMUSD on using the sports fields and Corona Del Mar High School and approved the January 9, 2023, Executive Session minutes.
- Approved an architectural application at 2641 Basswood for the construction of an ADU.
- In the General Session, the Board meeting approved the January 9, 2023, Board of Directors meeting minutes.
- Approved the December 31, 2022, monthly financial reports subject to year-end audit.
- Approved the draft of the audited financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, and authorized the final version be provided to the membership as required under California Civil Code.
- Reviewed the results of the Park Committee's efforts in soliciting pledges to be used for the Blue Heron Park Pollinator Project. The Committee reported pledges totaling $17,350.00. Based on the solid response to the pledges, the Board approved, in concept, the project and requested that the Park Committee get a final plan and cost figure from the Pollinator Project Fund and solicit contributions on the pledges obtained. Based on that information, the Board will review the final approval of a contract at an upcoming meeting.
- Received and filed reports from the Park and City Issues Committees.
The next meeting of the Board of Directors will take place on March 6, 2023, via Zoom.
The Board encourages all owners to attend the monthly board meetings and stay informed on Association issues.
