New This Week
Our Lenten journey continues with a reading from Exodus and John.
This is our third week of Lent won't you join us on-line at 9:15am.
Embodied for Lent will take on many ways to feel deeply and have a sense of wholeness. Beyond our weekly livestreamed worship on Wednesdays (6:30pm), we have daily devotionals, coloring pages, discussion after worship and a host of other ways to connect.
Join in, be made whole, and see God’s love come to life!
Confirmation Class Reminder For Lent: Through Lent we not be having formal class time with students, however the expectation is that students attend our virtual worship service. The service will be on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm livestreamed on Facebook (Feb 17, 24, Mar 3, 10, 17, 24). This will also be a great time to get worship notes completed - available through our online portal.

Faith In Our Homes Video Series
This week Pastor Nate discusses the symbolism of palms for Palm Sunday.

This year we will have lilies and mums (pink, yellow or white) available. The price is $16, same as last year.
CtK Church sign reads:
Lent: Spring Training
Easter: Opening Day
Some of you may have seen the sign out in the front of church. I am sorry to say, it does not mean we are having in person, Easter worship in the sanctuary. It is a baseball analogy applied to the Church for the season of Lent to prepare us for the glorious gift of the resurrection of Jesus Christ! (There will be parking lot worship at 10:15am!)
We are happy to report that a team of people from our congregation will be meeting Thursday to update our document for reentry of in person worship and gatherings. As we continue to see the numbers of new cases for COVID-19 going down and vaccinations are going up we are preparing for a phased approach for being in person again. We all are looking forward to that day! Continue to be vigilant in thinking and acting to others safe and watch for more information in the coming weeks.

Pillars February Dinner Recap
You have all stepped up to serve the community and your neighbors in a way that we could never have imagined. I have no doubt that you can continue making a difference for guests in shelter and help us meet the goals set for this year!

I recently received an email from the Shelter Managers regarding dinner service:
“Tony, I can imagine you don’t get a ton of recognition from the “folks on the ground” so I wanted pass this on. The Shelter Client Advocates just realized that dinner is provided and served the rest of February! The mental relief they feel on all three shifts is very noticeable. Thank you, Tony! Thank you for hanging in there through all this.”

I want to extend my thanks to those of you that have stepped up to provide and/or serve a meal at Pillars in February and recent months!
Thanks again! Toni Schneider, Volunteer Manager
