BNSF Joins the MEDC
BNSF Railway is one of the largest freight railroads in North America. One of eight North American Class I railroads, BNSF has 35,000 employees, 32,500 miles of track in 28 states, and nearly 8,000 locomotives. Montgomery, Illinois is very fortunate to have several rail served industrial parks and a series of buildings served by BNSF. This has been one of the many reasons Montgomery has been one of the most successful communities in the region. The ability to draw big names and companies into our region has placed Montgomery on the map of success. The MEDC has worked closely with BNSF railroad for several decades. We are proud to have their support and appreciate the continued growth the rail has brought to our community. Welcome aboard BNSF and thanks for supporting our organization.
Bon Appetit
Performance Foodservice recently redeveloped one of their properties and opened a brand new Training & Culinary Center. A full test kitchen was created to allow customers and vendors to showcase & taste their products. The event was held on March 29, and was indeed a feast for all to enjoy! Over 97 Venders were on display and provided samples of their menu items. Restaurants, Hospitals, Hotels and Schools are just a few of the many customers that purchase these supplies and products from Performance Foods. Thank you Performance Foodservice for your continued commitment & investment in our community! We wish you continued success & growth.
