“April showers bring May flowers” is the old saying that proved true in February in LA! In fact, we are so used to rain now that it doesn't phase us to get more this month. We learned that LA got more rain this winter than Seattle! But we know that rain is good luck and there are so many songs about God raining down His spirit on us that we feel closer to Him as it refreshes our city. So, let’s all Worship Him, rather than complain. Rain is a gift and we are GRATEFUL! Join us as we thank God, praise Him and pray to Him now…..

We want to share once again, our beautiful Easter Video, put together 2 years ago at the height of Covid Lockdowns! We asked award-winning Christian actors within our community to self-tape a portion of the Easter Story, and artists to create digital paintings and animation, to create a 10 minute short film featuring a diverse group of incredible talent from all over the world. Celebrate, reflect, and pray with us this Easter season! | |

Praise God that It’s Holy Week!
Maundy Thursday is tomorrow, followed by Good Friday, the end of Lent and then EASTER SUNDAY: the most exciting day of every year for Christians across the globe! We encourage every one of you to celebrate this week with awe, wonder, gratitude and love. We at HPN are praying for you to bring friends and family together for the week’s celebrations, culminating in Resurrection Sunday. Karen and Jim are Headed to Nashville!
HPN Nashville is relaunching their 20 year old chapter with new leadership. On Sunday, April 23rd our Nashville Local Chapter Directors are having a beautiful afternoon Open House, and Karen and Jim Covell will be there to celebrate their growing community of Christian industry professionals. Kelry is BACK!
We are so EXCITED to welcome Kelry back to the HPN office this week! God has continued to strengthen her body and her healthy and growing Baby Star. Kelry is able to spend a couple of days in the office planning HPN events while under doctor supervision. She has read all of your messages and is SO GRATEFUL for your love and support this past month. Kelry is happy to slowly get back to work for our amazing HPN community!

Angela White leaves 'Blac Chyna' Persona and Embraces Her Faith!
Praise God with us for Angela White (formerly Blac Chyna) who is growing in her walk with the Lord! Angela has made major steps in her recent transformation after re-committing her life to God. She has left her 'OnlyFans' account, her injections, Baphomet tattoo and implants behind, and seems excited as she shares her spiritual journey with fans online. Rejoice with us as we pray for Angela's continuing walk, and for strong Christian friends to encourage her!

Bringing Hollywood to Inglewood!
Krenée Tolson, a TV and theater actress, writer, producer and a USC grad, started HOPE STUDIOS out of her church in Inglewood. Krenée says she plans to cultivate local talent, develop short films and short-form digital content, and bring Hollywood to Inglewood. We praise God for her vision to combine her gifts in storytelling with her faith! Read more here:

Faith In Times of Loss
Pray for actress Amanda Kloots, who talks about her faith in the midst of loss. Amanda is bold in explaining the death of her actor husband and how her faith got her through the dark days. We praise God that more and more “celebrities” are open about their faith and how it gets them through life. Let’s pray for the Lord to continue to give Amanda, and other industry pros who love Jesus, more of His strength.

Layoffs at Disney
Continue to pray for all of the Disney employees who are now, may soon or have already lost their jobs. Bob Iger has started laying off what will become up to 7,000 employees in the weeks ahead and everyone at the studio is holding their breath! Please pray for the employees who are unemployed with families and growing bills. May Jesus touch their lives and give them a hope that will not disappoint them.

Pray For Amanda Bynes
37 year old “Hairspray” Actress Amanda Bynes, who for years, has been struggling with drug addiction and bipolar manic depressive disorders, was found wandering the streets of downtown LA last month. She is now in rehab, and so we ask that you pray for her complete healing, both physically and spiritually. We want her to feel the miraculous healing and unconditional love of Jesus!

Let's Pray for Fair Contracts
Actor’s Reps and Broadway Producers are not coming to terms with their negotiations on current Actor’s Equity Touring contracts. Please pray that after 3 years of no touring shows, the Broadway touring companies don’t have to strike in April. We pray that they can come to an agreement so that actors can act again, and cities across the country can have live touring shows that bring stories of joy and beauty to audiences across the country!

Sports and Entertainment Merger
There is a fine line between Entertainment and Sports, because sports on television is a huge business that invades a majority of homes across the globe! We ask that you pray for the people making the decisions for the Endeavor UFC/WWE multi-billion dollar merger that will happen this year. NY Post quotes: “Endeavor Group Holdings and Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment have entered a definitive agreement to create a new $21.4 billion live sports and entertainment company consisting of UFC and WWE.” Let’s ask God to lead the heads of these entities and control the impact this merger will have in our nation. It’s a poetic word with a powerful effect on everyone who practices it and accepts it from God. We’ll spend this week grasping how wide, deep, and high grace can be in life if we embrace it and practice it every day.
