Worship with your congregation in "Easter Watch Parties!"
In order to foster a sense of celebration in our diocese, and community within our individual congregations, we are suggesting that clergy host a zoom call with their congregation to gather before and after the service.
Please, invite your congregation to a zoom call before the service; give your community time to interact, say, "Hello," and "Happy Easter." When it is time for the service to begin, right around 10:00 am, ask the parishioners to join you in watching the Easter Festival of Lessons and Music on Facebook or YouTube. Provide the link in the zoom chat or in an email beforehand.
All are suggested to mute their zoom call and move over to the broadcast of the service on Facebook or YouTube. But do not leave the zoom call. Everyone can stay, through the service, and join-in after for coffee hour. Maybe have a message prepared for your congregation for after the Easter service.
We want, during this difficult time, more than ever, to be a community. Let's make our best effort to connect with one another this Easter.
