The church office is closed Easter Monday.
Good Friday Potato Planting
The Lord of Love garden work has begun with as much social distancing as we could manage. 15 rows of potatoes and a couple rows of onion sets were planted on Good Friday. An extra layer of fence has also been added to better keep the rabbits out. Thanks to our gardening crew: Doug Roberts, Doug Aden, Jeri Morgan, Dale Finck, Gary and John Ramsay, Dawn Burton, and Brian and Deb Lund. All members are welcome to come and help out any time they can. Look for more details about the gardening schedule as weather improves.
Adult Study Opportunity
It is Holy Week…so instead of continuing with the current adult study on Animate: Practices, I’ve decided to lift up to you this Animate: Faith video of Nadia Bolz-Weber reflecting on different perspectives of what the Cross means and how God's actions are revealed to us through the cross. BUT, before you watch this clip, I would encourage you to spend some time writing or thinking about what the cross means to you in a journal, or even praying in color by drawing a picture of the cross with the symbolism and words around it that describes what it means to you. Then, you can contemplate what Nadia has to say.
