Applewood Creek Trail construction resumes

Work resumed recently on the Applewood Creek Trail Project. The project to construct a pedestrian underpass under Giles Road, and a trail that runs north and south along 101st Street, is now in its final phase.

Traffic restrictions will begin in the area on April 4 to accommodate construction on the north side of Giles Rd.

Westbound traffic on Giles will cross over, creating a one-lane configuration for traffic moving both west and east.

Traffic restrictions are expected to last through the month of June, weather permitting. The entire project should be completed for the community's enjoyment in the summer of 2023.
