INCLUSION

Singing Our Faith ~ “There Is Room For All”

There is room for all in the shelter of God’s wing.
There is room for all in the shelter of God’s love.
And I rejoice and sing,
“My refuge and my rock in whom I trust!”
There is room for all.
There is room for all.

Welcome and Announcements

One: Spirit is the field on which all life arises. Humanity is a late arrival to the game of life.
All: We celebrate the loveliness of the Spirit’s field, human and nonhuman.
One: We celebrate the human species, a late arrival indeed, but aware in new ways. We continue our celebration with singing!

Singing Our Faith ~ "Brand New Day"

It’s a brand new day full of possibility.
It’s a brand new day full of hope for you and me.
And tomorrow’s here today bringing change along the way,
So let’s live our life and say, “It’s a brand new day!”

It’s a brand new day full of awe and mystery,
It’s a brand new day to create our history,
As tomorrows fade away, weaving lessons through our way,
We can live our life and say, “It’s a brand new day!”
Celebrations
This is our time to share our lives:
celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, words of kindness and works of peace and justice.

Celebration Song - "Circle of Friends," chorus only
Laugh (echo) Cry (echo) Live (echo), Die (echo)
Hello! (echo) Goodbye! (echo)

Invitation to Give

Offering and Offertory
Let us bring our offerings as an expression of our values. We give for our own sakes as well as for others. We give in joyful response to the abundance of the Universe.
Dedication of Our Offerings
One: The Spirit of Life and Love blesses all gifts and all givers.
All: Bless us, we pray, with both generosity and with conviction. May our courage empower our gifts and our service.

The Prayer of Jesus (sung responsively)
Our Creator in heaven || Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come. || Your will be done
On earth as in heaven. ||
Give us today our daily bread, || Forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those || Who trespass against us.
Save us from the time of trial, || And deliver us || from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours ||
Now and forever. || Amen ||

JUSTICE

Word About Life - Shared by Rev. Ken Heintzelman
Acts 9:36-43
Now in Joppa there was a disciple whose name was Tabitha, which in Greek is Dorcas. She was devoted to good works and acts of charity. At that time she became ill and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in a room upstairs. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the  disciples, who heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the request, "Please come to us without delay." So Peter got up and went with them; and when he arrived, they took him to the room upstairs. All the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing   tunics and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was with them. Peter put all of them outside, and then he knelt down and prayed. He turned to the body and said, "Tabitha, get up." Then she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he showed her to be alive. This became known throughout Joppa, and many  believed in the Lord. Meanwhile he stayed in Joppa for some time with a certain Simon, a tanner.
