I plan to publish an update video each week until we get the 'all clear'. Hopefully this won't be too much longer.
Mass Reopening Plan - Phase 2, Step 2 (New)
We are now two weeks into Phase 2 (June 22nd). This past week it became evident that this summer on the Outer Cape will be vibrant and busy. Folks have come out to their summer homes early (why not?) and are enjoying the early summer weather, which has been spectacular. The beaches are busy, the National Seashore Nauset Light Beach parking lot is full. Restaurants have lines waiting for take out and outdoor seating.

The State has nicely created a 'Step 2' for Phase 2, opening up restaurants to some limited indoor seating. They have issued guidelines (not optional) that restaurants must follow to seat folks indoors, that, starting today, should allow for significantly more seating capacity than only outdoor seating would allow. Additionally, it will allow these restaurants to continue even in poor weather. The guidelines are here..

Sector-specific guidelines in Step Two of Phase II:
Below is Gov Baker's chart, redrawn so we can track our progress. I'll try to maintain this chart so that the key dates remain front and center and so we can see our goal, the 'New Normal', slated for July 20th (ugh!). Each phase is a minimum of 3 weeks, with the possibility that any phase can expand as the data (and the Governor) requires. Check out the full list at 'Reopening Massachusetts'.
