I plan to publish an update video each week until we get the 'all clear'. Hopefully this won't be too much longer.
Mass Reopening Plan - Phase 3
Not much to report for the week. Not unexpectedly, mid-summer brings lots of vacationers to the Cape. Except that they are staying more to themselves and not standing in long lines at restaurants. And, the beaches seem full, but not crowded. Although there are exceptions, most rental properties have their fill of renters.

Nicely, Eastham hasn't had a new cases of COVID-19 for many weeks. All of Cape Cod has only had 1578 cases, up only 21 from last week.

The Eastham Chamber of Commerce published an email blast on Phase 3 - Here is the link that provides the details for Phase 3.

Below is Gov Baker's chart, redrawn so we can track our progress. I'll try to maintain this chart so that the key dates remain front and center and so we can see our goal, the 'New Normal', now slated for .... TBD. Each phase is a minimum of 3 weeks, Phase 2 was 4 weeks, and Phase 3 will be a minimum of 4 weeks. The schedule will be driven by the data (and the Governor). The Eastham Painters Guild has started their outdoor exhibition of new works and reconnecting with their followers. As in prior years, their primary location will be on the lawn of the old yellow Schoolhouse Museum on the corner of Schoolhouse Rd and Nauset Rd. Safety measures in place to protect their visitors and members. Facemasks are required. The show schedule is .... HERE.
