All Aboard a Field Trip Back in Time
Everybody loves field trips! Ms. Levacy's social studies class at Fairfield Career Center took a special trip to Mott's Military Museum in Groveport as part of its World War II elective class. Students got to see a Higgins boat that was used in five different engagements during the war and explored different artifacts that came from a footlocker sent from a World War II museum in New Orleans. It led to a great discussion about what artifacts can teach us, how to handle them, and a scavenger hunt. Field trips and hands-on learning ... you can't beat it!
Students Deliver Warmth for the Winter

Prior to break, the students in the Fairfield Career Center SkillsUSA chapter collected 45 winter weather items and 73 holiday cards, which were donated to the Foundation Dinners organization in Lancaster. The staff was very excited to distribute these items to their patrons in time for the holidays! Well done, students!
