We are proud to highlight an ECDS parent who has has taken the knowledge gained from years of advocating, supporting and navigating her way through her son’s medical journey, and started a journey of her own. Neda has created a business with the goal of helping other families dealing with their child’s complex medical, developmental, behavioral, and special needs: Neda Family Operations. Neda DeLuca is the mother of Waseem, a brilliant and creative fifth grader starting his third year at ECDS, and Alina, a sweet and intelligent first grader starting her second year at our school. Over the past several years, researching providers, dealing with insurance, coordinating appointments, and so many other aspects of supporting a child with needs became a full time job for Neda. Out of necessity, Neda developed systems and processes to help her family on their journey. Her goal now is to take her knowledge and help families who may be feeling overwhelmed and on their own as they care for the most important people in the world. Neda Family Operations is dedicated to helping families in a wide variety of ways. Compassionate work such as Neda Family Operations is so valuable, and we are so proud to have Neda, Peter, Waseem and Elina as part of the ECDS community.
