Dear Eastview Family and Friends,

As we end the month of February, we look forward to springing ahead to bright and sunny days in March! We are so proud of our students and the focused, hard work they have continued to display in their classrooms throughout the past month. During this time of the year, we see tremendous academic growth in our students as they build upon their foundational knowledge, and teachers challenge students with new concepts. We hope that you are enjoying seeing your own child’s growth this school year. Below you will find information about our upcoming referendum in April. We thank you for your continued support of our Eastview family.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Erin Zigler
Principal

FOR GOOD HEALTH,
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT FACE MASKS ARE WASHED REGULARLY, AND THAT EACH MASK IS USED ONLY
FOR ONE DAY!
Don't forget about the Daily
At-Home Health Check!

Please complete it daily prior to sending your student to school. It is vital to ask the questions on the checklist each and every day to prevent the possibility of exposing other students or staff. This checklist is to be reviewed at home daily, on the honor system. It is not required to be handed in to the school. Thank you!
So many interesting and FUN activities were enjoyed during
Student Science Week. In addition to classroom experiments,
we had a daily "Science Trivia" game, and participants'
names went in a raffle for some very cool prizes.
A big thank you to Mrs. Harkey for all of her hard work
in planning this adventure in STEM for us!

IMPORTANT!
Please add Eastview's phone number to your phone's contacts list, so you will know it is your child's school calling. Thank you!

Talented Musicians
in the House!

They were not our typical school concert experiences, but our
Virtual Band and Orchestra performances were wonderful, nonetheless!

Our friends at the Lakeland Animal Shelter were very pleased to receive the many generous donations supplied by the students and staff of Eastview.

It was a wonderful service opportunity for our school community, and it was very much appreciated by the Shelter staff!

in-person, for students only, on
Monday, March 8 and Wednesday, March 10.

The Lake Geneva School District has received an extension for the Federal Summer Food Service Program. We encourage each student to take advantage of our nutritious meals at no cost. This will require no action on your part, just show up! Additional meals, milk, or a la carte purchases will be debited from your student's account. If your family has already paid toward your lunch balance we ask that you please leave the balance for future use. Thank you.

Please note that the elementary milk break is not included in the waiver, because it is a state program. The cost for milk break is $50 per year unless a free and reduced application is returned and approved.
