Eastview Elementary School Times

MARCH 23-27
5th Grade had a wonderful day of fun and DISCOVERY in Milwaukee! Highlights included petting sting rays, designing rockets, exploring energy sources, and piloting a virtual airplane!
We were there all day and still didn't see and do everything Discovery World has to offer. It was a blast!
Coming to Eastview for one night onl y, Wednesday, March 4!
Featuring some very talented actors and actresses, along with the Accent Choir, and an amazing set that was created by our very own
in-house designers. It's going to be a great show, we'll see you there!
Our school community enjoyed two wonderful concerts in February. Our 5th Graders joined the rest of the District's 5th-8th Grade Band students in showcasing their hard work, and both our 4th and 5th Graders performed with other Orchestra students in the District Orchestra Festival. You should all be very proud of a job well done!

Every week, Mrs. Zigler draws 5 names from our Character Ticket bucket, and those 5 special friends receive a certificate in recognition of their outstanding character, as recognized by teachers and school staff. Congratulations to all!
Spring Book Fair and Special Person Lunch
March 10-13

Watch for a form that will be going home with more information regarding your student's lunch/recess schedule for the week!
Eastview Eagles Boys Basketball played two great games against Star Center! They worked hard, had fun, and each of the teams enjoyed a victory!

your child's school calling. Thank you!
  • 8:20 Supervision starts, and students may arrive at school
  • 8:20-8:35 Walking Club on the playground lot
  • 8:20-8:35 Breakfast is served
  • 8:35 Students enter the building to start their day
  • 8:40 Instruction begins
  • 3:37 Pick ups and walkers are dismissed
  • 3:40 Bus students are dismissed
For the safety of our students, please ALWAYS observe the following:

  • Do NOT use the bus lane. The crosswalk is used all day long, and students need to be able to cross safely.
  • Please do NOT park in the "No Parking" zones by the islands, as this creates traffic flow issues.
  • If using Sage Street for drop off or pick up, please park your car and meet your students at the top of the hill. We do not have crossing guards to cross the children at that intersection.
End of the Day Transportation!!

End of the day bus and pick-up changes must be made
no later than 3:00 PM.

While we make every effort to notify teachers of changes, it is most effective if a note is sent with your child in their Agenda.

I f you are going to be volunteering at Eastview, (field trips, PTO events, classroom help, etc.) the District Administration requires a background check to be processed. Forms are available on-line or you can call the Eastview office to request a form. Please note that the District Office needs
2 weeks to process each form.

Background checks are good for 3 years, so if you are unsure of whether you are still approved, you can call Eastview at 262-348-6000.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
We are very excited to welcome this year’s visiting author and storyteller, Jim May!

If I was a book, I would like to be a library book, so I would be taken home by all different
