Dear Eastview Families and Friends,
It is hard to believe that we are headed into the month of December! As we wrap up our Thanksgiving season, we continue to be thankful for the amazing job that our staff, teachers, students, and parents are doing each and every day. We have been a tremendous team, working together to support our students and provide them with the tools they need to be successful at school.
During the month of December, we will focus on the character trait of work ethic for our Leader of the Pack Award. We will encourage students to focus on their goals, put forth strong efforts in the classroom, and use a positive mindset to accomplish learning goals. We will continue to recognize students, with Eagle Earnings, on their quality leadership and positive choices that make our school a better place for all.
In the spirit of the season of giving, we will be encouraging students to demonstrate kindness and compassion for others. To go along with this theme, our student council will be running a food drive for our local food pantry the week of November 28th - Dec. 2nd. Additionally, we have a few holiday events planned for our students including our Christmas Countdown dress-up days. Lastly, our orchestra and band students will be hosting their first concerts along with our 5th grade holiday choir concert on December 14th. We hope that these events will add to the holiday excitement for our students and staff.
As you head into the holiday season with your families, I wish you health, happiness, and joy. Each day, I am reminded of the treasures we have at Eastview and am grateful for the wonderful people who fill our school. It is certainly a time to reflect and to appreciate everything you have. Thank you for your continued support.
Best wishes for a bright and cheerful December,
Mrs. Erin Zigler
Principal
