Dear Eastview Families and Friends,
Happy December! I hope this newsletter finds you well and filled with holiday spirit. As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on some of the achievements and experiences our students have had so far this year. Eastview had a wonderful “Eastview Feast” together on November 21st. This was a great experience for all of the students to get together and share a family meal as one school. I look forward to many more great things to come in 2024.
We have several upcoming music events for our annual winter performances. Please mark your calendars for these events. Our fifth-grade band students will be performing on December 5th at LGMS. Our fifth-grade choir students will be performing on December 13th at Eastview, and our fourth and fifth-grade orchestra students already performed on November 28th.
We will be having some school spirit days the week of December 18th-21st. More specifics will be announced as we get closer to those dates.
December is always a busy time of the year in an elementary school filled with so much excitement. Our teachers are busy planning fun activities and keeping students engaged in their learning.
Winter break will begin on December 22nd and run through January 1st.
I wish all of you a wonderful holiday and look forward to a fantastic 2024 at Eastview Elementary.
