Eastview Elementary School Times
Dear Eastview Family and Friends,

It is hard to believe that we have completed the first quarter of the school year! We have so much to celebrate and to be thankful for at Eastview. Throughout the first quarter, teachers have been dedicated to supporting our students, both academically and socially, and providing the supports to make the successful adjustment back to school. With these supports in place, our students have amazed us with their hard work, dedication, and determination in the classroom. Students have made gains in their reading, writing, and mathematics, and I know that teachers were excited to share this news with parents at our fall conferences at the end of October.

As a celebration of our first quarter of work, we continue to acknowledge our students with praise and positive feedback as well as students receiving Eagle Earnings. During our last week of October, we had a number of celebratory activities for students including a school-wide coloring contest, Leader of the Pack Awards, a silent auction, and a classroom holiday celebration. We will continue to make school a place of academic achievement, but also a place of celebration and joy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us!

As we look ahead to November and December, we will continue to focus on new learning goals with our students. The second quarter of school is an exciting time as students build on foundational skills and knowledge and begin to learn new content and skills. The work is challenging and rewarding for students, but also a time full of achievements as students make progress towards academic goals.

As always, we are here to support you and your family. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need assistance at any time. Thank you for your continued support; it takes a team, and together, we can continue to support one another and our students.

Wishing you and yours a truly wonderful Thanksgiving,

Mrs. Erin Zigler

The Lake Geneva School District has received an extension for the Federal Summer Food Service Program. Lake Geneva Schools students are eligible for one FREE breakfast and one FREE lunch daily for the entire 2020-2021 school year. We encourage each student to take advantage of our nutritious meals at no cost. This will require no action on your part, just show up! Additional meals, milk, or a la carte purchases will be debited from your student's account. If your family has already paid toward your lunch balance we ask that you please leave the balance for future use. Thank you.

Please note that the elementary milk break is not included in the waiver, because it is a state program. The cost for milk break is $50 per year unless a free and reduced application is returned and approved.
