Easy!!! 1/14/24
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
“FOR MY YOKE IS EASY, AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT!!!!”
MANY years ago I sat across a table in a Japanese restaurant across the table from a very successful Christian and anointed TV producer-in fact, this individual was a founding entrepreneur of Christian television in the Atlanta area. He recorded and produced my previous Church's weekly telecasts for many years.
I was KILLING myself in attempt to build a “successful” ministry and Church.
I had read all the books and explored all the earthly ideas on the “HOW TO DO!!”
As we calmly conversed he surprised me with a simple statement:
“IF IT IS OF GOD IT IS EASY!”
I was instantly INCENSED in my spirit!!!!!
The audacity of that stupid statement!!!!! Why, that flies in the face of the American WORK ethic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to reach across the table and strangle my dear friend!!!!!
Here I was/am-KILLING myself for Jesus and you say that!!!!!!!!!!
Here, MANY years later-as I read Jesus' Words, I found Biblical enlightenment to his profound statement:

I still do not like his statement:
“IF IT IS OF GOD IT IS EASY!”
I still do not fully understand it.
Perhaps it is because WE all want to do rather than be......................................
John 15:7 (KJV)
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Perhaps it the “ABIDING” part............
ABIDE-a primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy) :- abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), × thine own.

WE/maybe only me, do not understand or know how to “ABIDE” in Jesus or allow His Word to “ABIDE” in us/me??????
WE.me want to DO rather than “only” ABIDE?????????????????
