LIFE IS A BATTLEFIELD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I was dealing with a whining and fitful daughter first AWAKENING (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!!) this past week, I quoted the above Scripture to her.
If anybody in this life has the “right” to be “whining and fitful” it is truly little Amanda.
For whatever “reason” she is the way she is-she is!!!????
Unable to control her body and bodily functions, unable to be “free” to live her life, unable to effectually communicate nor take care of her ownself.
LIFE IS A BATTLEFIELD!!!!
I merely glimpsed a quote somewhere on the Web this past week that I even today still struggle to fully grasp and/or fully comprehend its meaning:
“LIFE IS A BATTLEFIELD-NOT A GRAVEYARD!”
It was a phrase that was burned into my consciousness???
Any that are reading this treatise perhaps understand???
For most, if not everybody, there is ALWAYS something going wrong in ones life even is MOST is right?????
AMEN????
In most lives there is “something” lagging, “something” nagging in the dark corner, a gloaming and daunting awareness that evil lurks “somewhere” in the shadows.....
DAILY/DAILY one MUST “CHOOSE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

No matter what the doctor says or said, no matter what the politics forecast, no matter the score on the scoreboard or the amount is your bank account or 401K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The PRESENT is a PRESENT!!! Today is all we have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No matter how much money and power a Bill Gates or any President enjoys, no matter who won yesterday's game or election..............

SOMEHOW/ONLY by the GRACE of God and His STRENGTH, WE must “CHOOSE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The Psalmist David declared:
Psalm 118:17 (KJV)
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
I know not the WHY he declared this or the WHEN in his life, but I suspect it had to be a dark and trying time.
Many time is his life he had to “ENCURAGE HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD!!!”
1 Samuel 30:6 (KJV)
6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
That is what I tried and try to ENCOURAGE little Amanda AND myself daily-and HOPEFULLY/PRAYERFULLY YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV)
10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
I don't know whether this word has blessed or encouraged you today, but it has me!!!
