MARK YOUR CALENDARS! We are launching our second annual Uplift Your Priest Campaign on April 12-23, 2021.
The campaign is designed to inspire the laity to support and encourage their priests. We need to let our clergy know that their people recognize their daily sacrifices.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
|
Catholics are asked to pray that more laborers will be sent into His harvest, which is abundant, even in the midst of a pandemic! The World Day of Prayer for Vocations (April 25th) is a perfect opportunity to engage students and parishioners to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We are confident that the Holy Spirit is still planting seeds, so let us create a vocation-friendly environment to water those seeds.
If you are in a parish, download the prayer card (below) from www.vocationministry.com to put in the bulletin/newsletter, hand out at Masses, leave in pews, or place on a welcoming table.

RESOURCES
Work with your pastor or principal to find the best way to pray for vocations. The following resources are some ideas to help make your parish or school celebrations easier. - Pray for the priests who have ministered to you throughout your life, both living and dead.
- Keep our parish priests in your prayers throughout the week.
- Encourage your children, grandchildren, or other young people to consider a vocation as a priest or religious brother or sister.
- Pray a rosary for more young men and women in our diocese to respond to God’s call.
Prayers of the Faithful
On this World Day of Prayer for Vocations, we pray that God will supply holy shepherds for the Church. Let us pray to the Lord.

- For all Catholics struggling to discern their vocations, that the Holy Spirit give them wisdom and peace. Let us pray to the Lord.
- That God will call men from our own parish to become priests. Let us pray to the Lord.
