Every Body Deserves Care

February is Eating Disorder Awareness Month — a time to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and remind individuals and families that recovery is possible.

Eating disorders affect people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. They are complex medical and mental health conditions, not lifestyle choices, and they deserve compassionate, evidence-based care.

At RCBM, our multidisciplinary team supports individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns through therapy, nutrition counseling, and psychiatric care when appropriate.

Now Available at RCBM: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

In this new video, Joel Young, MD, Medical Director and Founder of RCBM, explains what Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is and how it works.

TMS is a non-medication treatment for adults and adolescents ages 15 and older with major depressive disorder. It uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. It is also approved for adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

What patients can expect:

  • 20–30 minute sessions
  • Awake during treatment
  • No sedation
  • No downtime - patients can drive themselves home

TMS is FDA-cleared and well-tolerated.
