Here is an important message from Board Member Dr. Feldman regarding the proposed bell schedule time changes.

To all interested students, parents, guardians, community members and chambers, community groups, etc.

The Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Alberto M. Carvalho, is “exploring options for creating a bell schedule that will consider the health needs of our students while also increasing transportation access to high-demand programs across the District.” He is hosting several town hall meetings in January “to provide community stakeholders with information regarding this initiative to redefine the school day to support the future of learning and obtain feedback.” All meetings will take place from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Copies of the English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole flyers that have been developed for the town hall meetings are attached. Please feel free to disseminate them to your constituents as you wish.

GET YOUR PALMETTO SPIRIT WEAR:

The Miami Palmetto Senior's PTSA school store is operated by Sharingwear.org , a charitable organization founded and operated by Nicole Marks, a Palmetto High junior. Sharingwear's Palmetto Senior Online Store is the sole PTSA/school source to buy dress code shirts for Palmetto Senior as the Palmetto Senior PTSA does not operate a physical store at school. All clothing featured on Sharingwear's Palmetto Senior Online Store are approved by Miami Palmetto Senior High as qualified dress code attire that can be worn to school five days a week.
Designs can be purchased in multiple clothing styles (tshirts, sweatshirts, etc.) and some designs are available in multiple colors. Orders are custom printed and take 2-3 weeks for delivery. Several great new designs have been added.

All profits from Sharingwear's Palmetto Senior Online Store are shared 50% with the Palmetto Senior PTSA and 50% with Sharingwear's Charity of the Month. The current Charity of the Month is Paws for Panthers, Palmetto Senior's own charitable organization, which assists MPSH students who are experiencing serious financial hardship.

Please visit SharingWear.org to stock up on Palmetto gear!
