Proposed Bell Schedule Changes for Next School Year:
1-   Do you have an opinion about it? SPEAK UP through this online survey (scroll down) and encourage your children to do it too: http://belltimes.dadeschools.net
2-  Here is an important message from Board Member Dr. Feldman regarding the proposed bell schedule time changes:

To all interested students, parents, guardians, community members and chambers, community groups, etc.

The Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Alberto M. Carvalho, is “exploring options for creating a bell schedule that will consider the health needs of our students while also increasing transportation access to high-demand programs across the District.” He is hosting several town hall meetings in January “to provide community stakeholders with information regarding this initiative to redefine the school day to support the future of learning and obtain feedback.” All meetings will take place from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Copies of the English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole flyers that have been developed for the town hall meetings are attached. Please feel free to disseminate them to your constituents as you wish.
For more information, visit belltimes.dadeschools.net or contact Ms. Iraida R. Mendez-Cartaya, Associate Superintendent, Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, Grants Administration, and Community Engagement, at 305 995-2532.
