The Latest from Our Ebola Response

As the Ebola outbreak continues, our team remains focused on one priority: preventing transmission while maintaining access to essential healthcare and clean water services.

According to our Health Director, Dr. Mugisho, conditions in South Kivu remain stable, with movement controls firmly enforced. The Rwanda border remains closed, and travel restrictions across North and South Kivu continue to impact daily life.

These measures have contributed to rising food prices and significant disruptions to banking services, creating additional challenges for families and organizations alike. Despite these obstacles, we have continued to pay our staff without interruption.

It is estimated that crises of this scale can take years to fully contain. While we remain hopeful that advances in vaccines and treatment will help accelerate the response, prevention remains our most effective defense. That commitment to prevention continues to be visible at every Asili facility.

We are also grateful to share another generous in-kind donation. STAT Technologies, LLC, has kindly provided items such as gloves and infrared no-touch thermometers to support our frontline teams.

"STAT Technologies is honored to support Asili in the difficult and lifesaving work they do for one of the world's most vulnerable populations."
