Pax Christi France


Since 2023, the Collectif du 4 février (“4 February Collective”) has been promoting fraternity in French society, particularly on International Human Fraternity Day. In collaboration with the Fraternity Lab, it publishes an annual fraternity barometer to analyse the state of social bonds and identify possible solutions. 

On 4 February, events are organised across France, and each member of the collective shares their own analysis alongside the release of the barometer.

Pax Christi England and Wales


Pax Christi England and Wales took part in a demonstration at Birmingham Exhibition Centre, against the Specialist Defence and Security Convention on 3rd+4th Feb.


In Cambridge will be given a presentation by Neve Shalom Wahat as-Salam (Oasis of Peace) on the 7th March. This Oasis is located halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The village is directed on a non-denominational basis, Jews and Muslims working together.

Pax Christi Germany


Pax Christi Germany has published an article on the Peace Policy Commission, which views with great concern the political developments in Syria following the fall of President Assad at the end of 2024. Already at the start of the Syrian civil war, it had warned of the risk of a power vacuum resulting from a coup and a resurgence of violence against the Alawite, Christian and Kurdish minorities.

Pax Christi Italy


BAN WAR 2026 – The Heresy of Peace Against the Dogma of War is an online course running from February 25 to April 8, 2026. It is designed for teachers, educators, and professionals committed to promoting peace and human rights.


The course provides a critical analysis of the prevailing model that equates security with military power. It explores the erosion of international law and the weakening of institutions established to prevent and resolve conflicts.

Pax Christi Scotland


Pax Christi Scotland took part in the annual Ash Wednesday vigil at the Faslane nuclear submarine base. 

This year’s ceremony was particularly moving due to the death of founding member
Brian Quail, a lifelong pacifist who had protested there for decades. Instead of distributing ashes as he once did, participants prayed for him, and a tribute to his peace work has been published online.
