The inaugural She Means Business event celebrated the remarkable achievements of women-owned businesses with passion and dedication. Panelists including, JASMIN BRAND, Founder & CEO of Her Texas; Denisse Olivas, Founder and Digital Marketer 11-D Marketing; Yesenia Vega, Operator & Owner of Scenic’s Bar N Kitchen; Lisa Hernandez, with JUST Community; and Gabriela Ortiz, Founder & CEO of Chiki Dooni shared their expertise as successful entrepreneurs and community leaders.
Moderated by Mirella Tamayo Craigo, she lead the engaging discussions, covering a wide range of topics from challenges to successes, and opportunities in business.
The interactive workshops provided valuable tools and strategies to empower and enhance the practices of women entrepreneurs.
Regina Garcia, SMS and Tricia Luna, MBA from Barracuda PR (Public Relations) shared an insightful presentation on Buy El Paso, an initiative aimed at supporting local businesses funded by the City of El Paso in Collaboration with the Better Business Bureau El Paso.
The exhibition beautifully highlighted the diversity and innovation of women-owned businesses within our community, spotlighting Diane Martinez from Diva Dance, Darlene Escandon, the dedicated business owner of Jane & Jensen, and Sophie Lastra, the visionary entrepreneur behind Barrio Luna.
