The Mexico 2024 Business Summit successfully concluded on June 27 and 28, leaving a significant impact on the business community of Mexico and El Paso. Held at the DoubleTree Hotel, the summit brought together more than 139 attendees on Thursday and 111 on Friday. Business leaders, innovators, visionaries, and policymakers fostered constructive dialogue, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.
We are thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of the first-ever Cumbre Empresarial Mexico - US-Mexico Business Summit! Organized by visionary Paul Meza, CPA, and co-hosted by El Paso County and the City’s Economic & International Development Department, this event offered international business owners critical insights into both the challenges and opportunities of starting, owning, and operating a business in El Paso.
With the presence of El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego; the Consul General of Mexico, Mauricio Ibarra Ponce de León; Juan Acereto, Representative of International Affairs for Ciudad Juárez; Adriana Pulecio, Manager of International Business and Commercial Development for the City of El Paso; and Roberto Ransom, Director of Economic Development for El Paso County, as well as other recognized regional industry leaders, the summit addressed issues essential to the growth of international trade, incentives, technological innovation, and workforce development.
Participants discussed and formed strategies for mutual growth, establishing alliances and competitive advantages in the global market. Dynamic responses to the trends identified at the summit promise to strengthen cross-border collaboration and promote sustainable economic development in the region. Event participants concluded both days with tours of the city of El Paso and the county, visiting commercial spaces, entertainment venues, warehouses, offices, industrial parks, and ports of entry.
The success of the Mexico Business Summit 2024 sets a promising precedent for future events. Follow-up plans and new linkages are already underway for upcoming events, with an even greater emphasis on innovation and collaboration.
