Chamber hosts joint meeting to discuss a mounting concern
Arrow Woodard, City of Largo Housing Manager, reports on some of the programs the city is coordinating to assist those affected by soaring housing and rental costs. She led a discussion on the subject last week at a joint meeting of the Chamber’s Economic Development and Government Advocacy committees. The housing dilemma is a major concern by many of our employers in search of workers. We’ll be sharing more as efforts continue to address housing needs. He says “Coming to PTC and choosing web development with no prior skills in the field, I've come to love everything about it. I still have a lot to learn, but thanks to the best teacher Ms. Shaffer I know that I am in great hands.” Once he completes the program, he’s planning on getting a job as a web developer and eventually start his own business.
