2026 Mayor's State of the City Address

Join the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce and the City of Rancho Cucamonga for the Rancho Cucamonga Mayor's State of the City Address on Thursday, April 16, at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center (12505 Cultural Center Drive). Registration begins at 5:00 p.m., with the presentation starting at 6:00 p.m., followed immediately by a networking mixer.

 

Centered on this year's theme, "All Roads Lead to RC," the 2026 Address will highlight the people, partnerships, and projects driving Rancho Cucamonga forward. From major infrastructure upgrades and new mobility connections to fresh housing, dining, and cultural experiences, attendees will get an early look at the progress shaping our city, while also kicking off the centennial anniversary of Route 66.

 

This annual event brings together community partners from the business, education, real estate, and non-profit sectors as we celebrate accomplishments from the past year and share what is down the road for the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

 

Attendees are welcome to come early for a special ribbon-cutting celebration at 4:00 p.m. in the newly redesigned Bank of America Imagination Courtyard, marking the beginning of exciting, elevated experiences at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. After the ceremonial ribbon is cut, the celebration will continue with a live performance by Ventura Highway - The All Star Tribute to America, featuring unforgettable hits.

This 8-week Spanish entrepreneurship academy educates, motivates, empowers, and develops the leadership skills and business acumen of the monolingual community. All services are provided at no cost and will take place at the Chaffey College Rancho Cucamonga Campus (5885 Haven Avenue). Classes begin Thursday, May 7.

RC Family Resource Center Survey

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is excited to reimagine and reopen the RC Family Resource Center (9791 Arrow Route) as a vibrant neighborhood recreation hub, anticipated to open in 2027. Your feedback will help shape the future of the facility—from selecting a new name to identifying the programs, classes, and rental opportunities that matter most to neighbors of all ages.

This event is an opportunity to meet trained, work-ready candidates from their Industrial Electrical & Mechanical Pre-Apprenticeship program who are preparing for careers in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, and related skilled trades. 


Who you will meet

Students and recent graduates with hands-on training in mechanical systems, electrical fundamentals, automation, safety, and industrial maintenance skills. Employers hiring for maintenance, technician, operator, or related roles are encouraged to attend.

Sales and Use Tax Exclusion (STE) Program

The California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) offers a Sales and Use Tax (STE) exclusion to manufacturers that promote alternative energy and advanced transportation technologies. The program is currently authorized through Saturday, January 1, 2028.


The next application period is Friday, April 10 through Friday, May 1.

EmpowHER Grant

Boundless Futures Foundation empowers female entrepreneurs by providing grants to early-stage businesses and like-minded nonprofits. EmpowHER grants support women who need early-stage business capital, a network of business advisors, or both. Grantees will have access to financial, marketing, leadership, and sector professionals who can advise on business focus, next steps, and longer-range planning. 


Upcoming application cycles include:
