The Mayor's 2026 State of the City Address will take place on Thursday, April 16, at 5:00 p.m. at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center (12505 Cultural Center Drive). This annual event brings together community partners from the business, education, real estate, and non-profit sectors to learn more about the programs, services, developments and projects happening in the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

| Greater Ontario California (GOCAL) announced the launch of the Greater Ontario Area Transportation (GOAT) System. The GOAT brings new electric and hybrid shuttle service connections between Ontario International Airport (ONT) and major destinations across Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga. The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California. Businesses of any industry, size, or location are eligible to apply in one of the three application periods each year. Applicants will be analyzed based on 14 different factors of evaluation, including number of full-time jobs being created, amount of investment, and strategic importance to the state or region.
For fiscal year 2025-2026, GO-Biz will accept applications for the California Competes Tax Credit during the following periods:
- January 5, 2026 - January 26, 2026 ($308 million in tax credits available)
- March 2, 2026 - March 16, 2026 ($306.6 million in tax credits available plus any remaining unallocated amounts from the previous application periods)
