The Office of Economic Development was proud to sponsor the inaugural James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton earlier this year. Aired on the Golf Channel, the event featured 78 PGA Tour Champions and 26 football legends.

New Observation Area at the

Boca Raton Airport

The unique circular viewing platform, the only one of its kind in Palm Beach County, offers 360-degree, unobstructed views, complete with shaded seating, accessible ramps, and educational signage for an engaging and educational aviation space. Open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Reimagined Downtown Residential

Glass House Boca Raton has officially broken ground. This remarkable 9-story residential building, nestled in the heart of Downtown Boca, will offer next-level amenities, will redefining urban living, and provide another level of sought after housing in Boca Raton.


Plans for the Tri-Rail Station Area

Development plans for the Boca Raton's Tri-Rail station area will reimagine the area in an effort to improve the City’s connectivity, providing for workforce housing and a new community hub. This type of project will support business and help attract talent to the area.

Since the start of 2025, the Office of Economic Development advanced key initiatives that strengthened business growth and economic development across the City.


  • Economic Development Fund Grants: Approval of two, three-year grant agreements with the Hispanic Entrepreneur Initiative and the 1909 Foundation designed to support and foster the growth of entrepreneurs and small businesses in Boca Raton.


  • Market Introductions: Site selection and office space location support for South Florida pharmaceutical and medical service companies, a Northeast bakery and national sports training company and a national hotel management company.


  • Industry Focus: Partnership with the South Florida Manufacturers Association to bring manufacturing business support event to the City.


  • Sustainable Actions: Collaborating with the City's Office of Sustainability to establish a Building Energy Efficiency Program (BEEP) aimed at improving energy performance and reducing electricity costs of commercial and multifamily properties.​

The City's Concierge Service continues to support local businesses and developers with projects that drive our city’s growth. By streamlining planning, review, and permitting through personalized support, project timelines are accelerated and costs are reduced. Recent efforts from the City's Concierge team include:

  • Alina Residences Assisted in securing a Certificate of Occupancy (COO) for their final luxury high-rise condominium building at 200 SE Mizner Blvd., coordinating cross-departmental meetings, inspections, and final approvals.


  • Martin Manor Supported the residential property at 1350 N. Dixie Hwy. by acting as the primary point of contact to coordinate meetings, manage fee submissions with Palm Beach County, and help secure Phase 1 building approvals.
