IRCC VIRTUAL LEARNING SERIES FOR EMPLOYERS

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will be offering a virtual learning series for employers this fall.  The goal of this 4-week series is to help employers learn more about Canada’s economic immigration programs. Each week will feature a new topic and provide employers with an opportunity to ask us questions. Employers may choose to attend one or all the information sessions based on their interest and needs. Upcoming topics will include an overview of our outreach services for employers, the benefits of hiring global talent and an introduction to work permits. Please note that the sessions offered in English and in French are on the same topics but they are on different dates. STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMUNITY SURVEY

Support is available for hiring and training Level 1 apprentices - Employers with less than 500 paid employees are eligible for $5,000 or $10,000 grants to offset the costs of hiring and training first year apprentices in 39 Red Seal Trades through Canadian Apprenticeship Service.

The 26 week Self-Employment Training Program is fully funded by the Government of Alberta and is FREE to eligible participants. We provide workshops, training, support, guidance and 1-1 coaching to help you turn your skills and abilities into your own business.
