City of Casa Grande Cares Program

Casa Grande CARES was launched to financially assist local (City) businesses and federally recognized non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected” Executive Order issued by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

The program provided a one-time reimbursement up to $10,000 to qualifying applicants for rent, mortgage, utilities expenses and/or the purchase of personal protective equipment for a three-month period. Qualifying expense periods were either March-April-May or April-May-June. Applications were accepted from August 12 through September 11. Overall, 35 businesses and non-profits received about $190,000 in financial aid.
