Small businesses (less than 100 employees) can receive an initial $1,000 incentive upon hiring and an additional $1,000 retention incentive after six months for each youth (aged 15 to 29) hired through Employment Ontario's Youth Job Connection.

Have you shared the new Muskoka Lakes Promotional Video on social media?

The Township of Muskoka Lakes will be releasing a series of videos as part of their downtown enhancement project. The purpose of this project is to use video as a way to inspire a new sense of optimism and pride about Muskoka Lakes and specifically the downtown's to showcase them as a unique asset and destination for the community.

The goal is to create a positive connection between our residents and the diverse people and places in our downtown cores, and leave them with the feeling that they should come out and experience it for themselves.

Explorers' Edge Shuttle Service
Guests arriving with Porter Airlines this summer can take the Explorers’ Edge Shuttle Service to one of many vacation destinations in the region. For those flying in or out of the region, the shuttle can be used to access any one of the 5 Designated Routes that span from Algonquin in the east to Georgian Bay in the west.

Two routes travel through the Township of Muskoka Lakes:
  • Route 1: Muskoka Airport to Port Carling via Hwy 118
  • Route 2: Muskoka Airport to Parry Sound via Hwy 169

A $10 fee per person per one-direction trip applies.
