Arts culture and our economy
Arts and culture products represent $25 billion of Ontario's gross domestic product (GDP), which is larger than that of the accommodation and food services industry ($16.2 billion). 1

Municipalities who leverage their culture industry reap positive economic benefits by creating jobs and building an appealing identity that brings visitors to the area.

The Arts Centre and Gallery in Sutton, established in 1999 is an integral part of boosting Georgina's culture industry. They draw thousands of locals and visitors annually supporting our community of artists who are eager to share their talents and engage enthusiasts.

They deliver a range of educational arts programming, partner with local schools and host numerous events and exhibits. Learn more about Georgina's culture hub and what they're doing to promote our unique and diverse culture.
