Haffie Crane Ltd. ready for tall orders
|
MALLORYTOWN - Fully-licenced and experienced crane owner/operator Jeff Haffie hasn't looked back after starting his business 4 years ago.
With his 50-ton mobile crane, Jeff is busy throughout the year, from Kingston in the west to Cornwall in the east. A majority of his work is in the Brockville area as well as north into Lanark County.
"I had bookings almost immediately," Jeff says of the first months after launching Haffie Crane Ltd. He decided to start his own business following decades of working for other companies. Jeff is a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 and Haffie Crane is a unionized company.
"I enjoy the one-on-one with customers," he says. He also likes the variety of work he does, from installing an AC unit onto the roof of an apartment building, to lifting roof trusses in place, to Rideau Canal lock gate installation and maintenance work for Parks Canada to loading water treatment systems for Newterra Ltd. Haffie Crane is available for residential, commercial and industrial work.
"There is something new every day - every day is a new challenge," Jeff says. His partner in the business is his wife, Sarah Gibbons.
Jeff is excited to begin his fifth year of business with the addition of a newly-constructed shop in Mallorytown where the crane is housed.
Running a crane rental and service company means safety is a top priority. The best customer service means having a well-maintained crane and an experienced operator. Jeff discusses each job with the customer prior to arriving on site to ensure his crane is the best machine for the job. Good communication with his client is key.
Learn more about Haffie Crane by visiting their
website. Give Jeff a call anytime at 613-802-4397 or send him an
email. The business is located at 307 Old River Road in Mallorytown.
