Coba Studios & Print House Gets the Messaging Right
MERRICKVILLE - If you have a message to convey or want product packaging to set your business apart, check out Coba Studios and Print House.
Partner Chris Chinkiwsky is always enthusiastic when it comes to helping customers with all of their printing and signage needs. Services at Coba include digital and business printing, stickers and lamination, book printing and binding, graphic design, creative consulting and wide format photo reproductions - including fine art.
"My job is to eliminate all of the barriers and make it an enjoyable experience," says Chris, who has lived in Merrickville his entire life and has always wanted to be involved in design.
"Our slogan is 'Helping You Create Your Story' and that really sums up what we do here," Chris says. He strives to overcome all complications in order to get the end result the client is looking for and all while keeping things cost effective.
Coba Studios and Print House was formed 16 years ago by two partners, one of them being Joy Cox. When an original partner departed, Joy and Chris became business partners. Chris was involved in the early development of Coba about 8 years ago, initially volunteering at the shop.
"This job is full-time problem solving and I love it," says Chris. What makes it so exciting and challenging is the variety of the work and fascinating people who come through the door.
Chris has worked with members of the Merrickville Artists Guild creating amazing reproductions of original work. On another day he may be designing and printing product labels for local businesses, such as Luke's European Style Market in Athens, Mrs. McGarrigle's Fine Foods and 1890 Artisan Natural Products of Merrickville. A majority of Coba's clients are in the Leeds Grenville area and many are located in Merrickville and Kemptville.
Coba Studios and Print House is very supportive of the community, area service clubs and charities. It is also active in sponsoring events. "That is a priority for us. It's fulfilling to be a part of things that are going on," says Chris.
Learn more about Coba Studios and Print House by visiting their website, Facebook and Instagram pages. The shop is located at 406 Read Street in Merrickville. You can call Chris at 613-269-2022 or send him an email (info@cobastudios.com).
