Then we’ll work with you to schedule events that match your availability. Contact Amy to learn more.

Make it easier on yourself to find skilled workers in a couple of years. If your facility shows well, host a student tour, whether on national MFG Day (the first Friday in October), during Ohio’s Manufacturing Month (October), and on any other day that works for you and your school partners to show students, educators, and parents the great occupations and careers your company offers. Interested? Let Amy know.

Looking for an affordable, easy way to upskill your employees? Take advantage of DRMA’s partnership with Tooling U-SME, which gives DRMA members a 15% discount off hundreds of manufacturing online training courses. AND, the cost is likely covered by the state’s TechCred program. Haven’t heard of Tooling U? They are experts in manufacturing on-line curriculum, way before everyone else got into the game during COVID. Learn more here.

Congratulations to Dayton Public School’s Belmont High School for being awarded $320,000 as a recipient of Ohio’s Career-Technical Education Access Grant to expand manufacturing programs. As the industry sector partner for the Dayton region, DRMA will be tasked to work with Belmont High School to develop curricula, establish paid work-based learning opportunities, and provide career coaching to ensure the students develop the skills aligned to our region’s workforce needs.
