Ed McMahon, the former president of Scenic America, is coming to Montpelier on June 20th to discuss "The Power of Uniqueness" for the Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesdays program.
McMahon is a renowned TED talk lecturer, and one America's most incisive analysts of land use and economic development.
"There is no place in America today that will stay special by accident. You can anticipate the changes that are coming, and direct them. Or you can just let them happen. You can grow by choice, or you can grow by chance."
