Due to Coronavirus, so many events were cancelled, however, graduation had to go on! This year the ceremony was held virtually to celebrate the Class of 2020.

The Class of 2020 was fortunate in that some of the guidelines were eased enough to allow for a small gathering enabling them to share in one of the most important part of a graduation ceremony--receiving their diploma. Following health protocols, the class gathered on the athletic fields and, in small groups, shared the moment with their parents and guardians.

Friends, families, and students, of course, celebrated the end of elementary school during the virtual Grady Moving Up Ceremony.

Congratulations to all our Dixson first-graders who made it through such an interesting year! We wish you all the best next year at Grady!

S avallya Boyini was named the Valedictorian and Chris Yeosock joined him as Salutatorian. The two offered a pre-recorded speech during the virtual commencement ceremony held on June 23.

On Saturday, June 13, Alexander Hamilton High School’s Class of 2020 took an abbreviated road trip through the Village of Elmsford. All the elements of being on the road were there — the excitement for their future, preparing to head out and the plain fun of celebrating their achievement in a new and unique way as they ready for their next adventure.

The lawn in front of Alexander Hamilton High School transformed into a "yearbook" to celebrate the Class of 2020. Instead of flipping through pages, community members enjoyed an outdoor display of senior photos.

Because the pandemic’s ripple effects can have such a profound influence on teens and families, the district convened a panel of experts. Alexander Hamilton High School Principal Joseph Engelhardt hosted “Practical Strategies for Parenting Teens” through a Zoom session on June 18.

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
