Greetings!
Summer is in full swing at Holden Village!
Eden is Calling Holden Village into new ways of living and loving the world. Compelling sessions inspire and empower us to act for God’s desired abundant life for all. We are learning how to practice Eden and become the community for which God longs.
Our daily Sacred Space rhythms, including the new Bless this Night vespers, reflect the implications of the foundational story in Genesis for our lives today. The gifts of visiting musicians incorporate worship music from around the world.
The Village commemorated Juneteenth with reflective readings during a 2.5-mile walk symbolizing the delivery of the Emancipation Proclamation in the Port of Galveston 2.5 years after it was issued. Throughout the month we celebrate Pride as members of the LGBTQ+ community, as learners, and allies. The Village abounds with activities, a parade, dance party, Pride vespers, and commits half our summer offering to support the Lavender Rights Project.
Join us this summer as we respond to Eden Calling. Plan a visit to Holden this summer! We welcome you for a renewing weekend getaway or a visit during one of our Cohort Weeks filled with activities for all ages.
Faithfully,
Stacy Kitahata, Mark Bach, and Kathie Bach

Holden Village welcomes everyone to the wilderness! The Holden Village Access Fund exists to offset the cost of a visit to Holden Village for people with financial need.
Holden Village acknowledges that the oppression of people based on race, ethnicity, income level, gender identities, sexual orientations, and physical abilities creates barriers that make the cost of visiting difficult. The Access Fund is particularly designed to expand welcome to people of color and people who identify as LGBTQ+.
If you or someone you know would like to visit Holden Village and receive financial assistance, please complete the form below to apply.
Spread the word about this financial assistance to visit Holden Village!
