This year, the walk will be held this coming Sunday, October 15, 9 a.m., at Manhattanville College. The ETA would love to have members from the Edgemont community join them that morning! Picture Day Is Coming!
It's almost Picture Day! Students in grades 7-11 will have their school photos taken in the library classroom during Science classes as follows:
- Monday, October 16: Grades 7 and 8
- Tuesday, October 17: Grades 7, 8, 9
- Wednesday, October 18: Grades 9, 10, 11
- Thursday, October 19: Grades 10 and 11, and anyone who missed taking their photo earlier in the week.
Students should have their photos taken the first day they are scheduled in their Science classes. The second day is there for those classes who do not meet on the first day.
Senior photo retakes will be held Friday, October 20 (sign up in advance).

The Sharing Shelf helps the nearly 26% of Westchester children who live in poor or low-income homes — many of whom lack access to clean clothing, as well as everyday necessities such as socks, underwear, shoes.

We will learn about their mission, assemble hygiene kits, work with the diaper bank, and prepare clothing, among other projects. This event is great for ages 5+ (with an adult).
Sign up now! Two sessions are available: 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 12-2 p.m. To underwrite the supplies used during these activities, we’re requesting a contribution of $50 for a group of 2 or $100 per family (up to 4 volunteers). Click here to sign up.

Annual Edgemont Halloween Parade! Volunteers needed | |

The Edgemont Community Council is seeking volunteers to assist with the annual Crane’s Pond Halloween Parade on Sunday, October 29. Volunteers will be positioned around the parade route to ensure a safe environment for the youngest Edgemonters and their families as they walk the parade. This is a great opportunity for high school students and parents. Volunteers are needed from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. To volunteer, please email Programming@EdgemontECC.org. | |
ZMA Foundation offers NARCAN Training to Adults
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8
7 TO 8 PM
EHS AUDITORIUM
The ZMA Foundation is offering NARCAN training to all Edgemont community parents/caretakers. To take this class you must be at least 18 years of age. The class takes approximately one hour and will be held at EHS. At the end of the class, emergency NARCAN kits will be distributed to all participants.
