EDGEWOOD - The Edgewood Heritage Festival is marking its 39th year as one of the premier annual festivals in Northeast Texas.  The 2015 festival is from 8.45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 14 at the Heritage Park Museum of East Texas and downtown Edgewood, which is located on US Highway 80, 50 miles east of Dallas and 50 miles west of Tyler.  Admission to the festival and parking is free. 

Edgewood School Children

Children are big part of the festival. The Edgewood ISD children, from Pre-K to 9th Grade, along with Young Marines, have been actively involved in the festival and making this event as part of learning their heritage. Their contributions started at the Opening Ceremony at 8:45 AM and go on throughout the event. The Texas Pistolaros

The Texas Pistolaros is a historically correct old west reenactment society organized to promote early Wild West drama and to present and preserve the authentic dress, action, deed, and history of the old west. Both melodrama and comedy are professionally performed for wholesome family entertainment. Meet them at the School Yard from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Read more about them here.

Rhythm House Dance Studio

Rhythm House Dance Studio, a highly qualified dance and competition studio in Forney, Texas, will show off their talents for visitors at the Transportation Area at 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Visit their website.
Texas Mini Bike Drag Racing

New this year!
"We are a group of crazy guys out of East Texas that enjoy drag racing mini bikes. We have monthly events and exhibition races. We will travel to race." Watch them race on Elm

Edgewood Drama Club

Also debuting this year, Edgewood High School Drama Club will present "Cornfield of Dreams... or the Villain was a Laughing Stalk"
at the Church in the Wildwood, at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Ticket: $5 for adult / $2 children 12 y.o. and under. All proceed will go to the EHS Drama Club.  Produced with special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Inc., Englewood, CO. 

Dancin' Ovation

Dancin' Ovations is a family oriented dance studio in Forney, Texas. Their performances include exhibition performances at the Rough Riders and Dallas Mavericks games. Grab their sparkle at the Village Bandstand, at 11:00 - 12:00. Visit their website.
Tetelestai Praise Band

Tetelestai Praise & Worship Band leads worship every Wednesday for the First Baptist Church, Edgewood Youth Ministry. It is their desire that everyone they come in contact with hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Listen to them at the Train Depot Stage, 12:30 - 2:00 PM.
