An update from the Association Executive
We had another successful golf tournament yesterday. Thank you to everyone that was involved in this great event.

Next week on Thursday, June 14 th  we will be having our General Membership Meeting at Donovan Pavilion. We have great prizes from the Affiliate Expo, and special speaker Jayne Lybrand will present "Is Your Body Language Saying Something You Don't Want It To?" At this meeting we also have proposed Bylaw changes . If you are a Realtor, please make sure to respond to the survey that was sent to you by email on June 7 th . Non-Realtor members aren't voting on this change.

Please don’t forget to RSVP for the Membership Meeting so that we have an accurate headcount.

Lastly, I am excited to share that Jen Beckley has joined the VBR team. She is our new membership and office coordinator. Please make sure to introduce yourself to her next week at the General Membership Meeting or when you are at the VBR office.

Have a great weekend!

This program provides residents with many benefits:

  • An in-depth, on-site assessment conducted by experienced fire professionals;

  • An opportunity for property owners to identify mitigation actions unique to their property;

  • A detailed follow up report with customized mitigation actions designed to measurably reduce the wildfire risk to their property;

  • An opportunity to earn a REALFire certificate acknowledging their mitigation achievements. This type of recognition can be used to enhance real estate transactions, and can be shared with local insurance providers.
