New Year - Clean Slate

Start the new year off on the right foot.

Change the batteries in your fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarm.
Change your heater filter.
Purge & donate items you don’t use to those in need.
Locate your emergency kit. Is it fully stocked? Do you have an emergency plan?
Clean your rain gutters.
Clean your dryer vent.
Dispose of expired medicine
Clear our your pantry

Are You Ready for an Emergency?

Do you know what to do if an earthquake hits? How to deal with fires or floods? You can become a certified volunteer with Anaheim''s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). They will train you to be prepared for disasters and teach you how to respond to these emergencies.

Marine Expeditionary Unit

In 2007, the City of Anaheim adopted the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) to show support for the military personnel and their families. They are stationed out of Camp Pendleton.

The 13th MEU Adoption Committee works effortlessly to support the 13th MEU Marines, Sailors and their families on an ongoing basis, both when the unit is at home and deployed. In return, the USMC will provide community support by participating in local school programs and various city functions.

Help support our MEU by participating in their big fundraiser -- the Semper 5K and 10K. It will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Riverdale Park, 4545 E. Riverdale Avenue, Anaheim.
