It's Education Week 2026 and this year’s theme is Learn! Teach! Inspire! / Apprendre! Enseigner! Inspirer!


Throughout this week we are holding a social media contest with lots of opportunity for schools and individual classrooms to win a prize!


Contest Details:

  • During Education Week 2026, February 9-13, schools/teachers are invited to post their Education Week activities on Facebook or Instagram tagging @nlteachersassoc (#LearnTeachInspireNL, #NLEduWeek2026)
  • Each school/teacher Education Week 2026 activity posted with an NLTA tag will be eligible for a chance to win one of several NLTA Education Week prizes. Make sure to tag NLTA!

Education Week Prizes:

  • Four $250 cash prizes will be awarded to schools. A random draw will take place among all the schools that post.
  • Ten $100 VISA gift cards will be awarded to a classroom. A random draw will take place among all the classrooms that post.

The NLTA also wants to help celebrate and highlight the contributions of our members during Teacher Appreciation Week. Tell us how teachers are making a difference on Facebook or Instagram tagging @nlteachersassoc (#NLTeachersRock) for another chance to win this week!


Teacher Appreciation Week Prizes:

  • Four $500 cash prizes to help celebrate and recognize the winning school’s awesome staff.

Prizes will be drawn on Monday, February 16, 2026 and winners’ names will be announced on social media.
