Why Your Business Owner Clients Really Need to Complete Their Estate and Long-Term Care Planning

Market studies show that 65-75% of individuals surveyed have not created estate plans, or their plans are outdated and ineffective. The percentage of unprotected individuals and families is usually higher for younger generations.

Planning is important for everyone, but small business owners (SBOs) have more to lose than the average salaried employee if they neglect planning. Unfortunately, small business owners are often too busy working in their business to take time to plan.

Before you think "This doesn't apply to me," we encourage you to join Jerry Bell and find out more about why it might.

10:30 am - 11:30 am CDT
Question: What is a 1035 Exchange?
Answer: 1035 Exchanges move money without taxation.

Prospects who are most likely to be interested in 1035 & combo products...
1. Own "lazy assets"; particularly large gains in non-qualified annuities or life insurance
2.  Not insured for long-term care insurance
3. Don't want to have to take RMDs (required minimum distributions)
4. Don't like "use it or lose it" nature of long-term care insurance

... the above can apply, even in NOT good health.
