Park City educators are implementing a record-breaking number of Classroom Grants this school year, with great impact and success.  We can't wait to see this year's applications! Classroom Grants (up to $45,000!) can be awarded to support:  Academic success The whole child and/or Innovation PCEF Classroom Grant applications are open to PCSD faculty, administration, and staff.  Guidelines and other information linked below.

🛫 Classroom Grants Take Flight 🛫

Witnessing Classroom Grants come to life is one of the most joyful parts of the job for the PCEF team. Take a look at a few ways your colleagues have utilized PCEF funding in their classrooms... and beyond! 🛫 PCHS → AVIATION PATHWAY  A new Aviation Pathway is now part of PCSD's exceptional CTE opportunities. Trip Marshall's Drone Aviation course was supported by a PCEF Classroom Grant - and aims to provide students with the runway they need to fly.

🛠️ TMJH → CONSTRUCTION TECH

CTE is, of course, Real World Learning - and it doesn't get more "real world" than this: Students in TMJH's Construction Technology course are designing and building an actual small-scale living space! Brad Gannon's Construction Tech course was made possible Classroom Grants & a PCEF donor-directed gift.

🆒 EHMS → LEADERSHIP CLASS

"This program builds students' self-awareness, confidence, service, and leadership skills." - Elizabeth Thompson, Program Manager  Leadership students, recommended as leaders by teachers and peers, are integral in school-wide programs and activities like advisory, community service, academic rigor, and elementary tutoring.

🏎️ TSES/MPES → RC RACE AND ENGINEERING LEAGUE

Now at TSES and MPES, Sam Thompson, Melissa Bott, and Krista Ingle's RC League takes 4th and 5th-graders on a journey of racing modern radio-controlled cars. The league hones problem-solving skills and provides a real- world application of both science and engineering practices and content.
